PostHeaderIcon Latest Fashion Trends 2010 For The Couture Conscious

You are the type of person who won’t want to be caught wearing the wrong fashion at any time of the year! For you, fashion is more important than even the basic necessities of life. If that is the case, then you simply cannot avoid these latest fashion trends of 2010.

    1. The fashion wear of 2010 doesn’t consist of any new stuff, nothing has been especially invented for 2010, but the style and manner of wearing them is what is making all the difference. The top fashion designers have devoted more time on wearing styles and those are what have really caught on. If you want to be in vogue, you should really check out some ensembles that have been popular this year and then create a wearing style of your own, inspired from them. Novelty is the name of the game. The Internet is the best place to see how models are clothed by the top fashion designers this year. Of course, you could check out local fashion shows if you have the access to them.
    2. Here is one tip-the latest fashion trends of 2010 indicate that most things you wear should be loose and look comfortable. The age of tights is, mercifully, not happening this year. The best fashion tip right now is to strike a balance between sexiness and comfort. Wear loose-fitting garments that you can carry off with elan.
    3. The other thing is about the color. What colors are in this season? Like previous fall seasons, this year too the darker shades are making the most waves. This is the age of darker tops and lighter bottoms actually. Fashion-conscious people are rediscovering different shades of black as well and wearing it in so many different unconventional ways. Black seems to be present on most clothes, even if it is just for the buttons or belts or stuff like that.
    4. About the materials, silk has made a comeback for wherever you can wear it. Silk leggings, ties, scarves, etc. are much in vogue. The soft feel of the fabric is in. Silk is one fabric where the color does not matter. So, if you are planning to wear a black outfit, a colorful silk scarf is what you could accessorize it with to give it the ultra chic look. A very in thing to do this fashion season of 2010!
    5. Another very important thing right now is accessories. People are actually splurging on accessories right now, whether they are scarves or jewelry or belts or just plain ol’ leggins’. Check them out yourself. Various different designs and styles have come out this year and don’t mind being creative about it. The more different you look, the more you are going to stand out.

The latest fashion trends of 2010 indicate an upbeat, chic look which is very much in. Get yourself in the groove and go shopping for accessories and other fun stuff. You have to have your creative juices flowing though, because that is what the fashion elite are really caring for right now.

    Easy Costume Ideas

Looking for some easy costume ideas for you next party, well I have some very popular ideas that you can use with maybe something spare in your closet, or maybe a quick trip to the goodwill orĀ  thrift store and then you can make a few adjustments.

Homemade costumes don’t have to involve months of preparation and days of sewing. If you don’t have the money to spend on an expensive costume, or if you have ran out of time to put something together, simply take a look around your house. Chances are you have all that you need for a do it yourself costume, without spending a dime and here are some popular easy costume ideas for you.

    French maids

Are generally considered very feminine with their frilly dresses & high heeled stilettos.

What you will need: black dress, small frilly apron, lace headpiece, black fishnets, stilettos & feather duster.

Dress alterations: use a V or round neck dress with sleeves, add gathered lace around neckline, sleeves and hemline by gluing or sewing.

    Dracula’s

We have the image of seductiveness, darkness & mystique; however with this costume we have added a hint of sexiness.

You will need: black dress, bat or gothic style choker, black fishnets, black boots, long black wig with white stripe, fangs, blood & puncture marks – tattoos for neck (optional).

Dress alterations: use a black round or V neck black long sleeve short dress, cut the hemline and sleeves jaggedly.

Tip: Be careful not to alter the length too much, as you don’t want it shorter.

    Cowboy/Cowgirl

If you children already own cowboy or cowgirl boots and a hat, all you need to do is add some blue jeans and a long sleeve check top. If you child has a pony on a stick toy, even better. Parents may also be able to find some rope lying around that can be used as a lasso prop. For a farmer just try adding some hay inside shirt or pants pockets, and a fake pitchfork, rake or hoe as a prop.

    Ghost.

The whole ghost costume is played out, but you can reinvent it using two bed sheets instead of one. Cut eye holes in two sets of sheets and draw a mouth and nose on both, put them both on, tie a rope around your waist to keep the costume on and when people ask tell them you are a ghost dressed as a ghost

    Scrubs

Scrubs make a great outfit for lounging around the house or relaxing in general. Try wearing most costumes after the actual holiday. For the most part, it’s not going to work. You’d look foolish and probably wouldn’t be comfortable. Go the smart route and choose scrubs for you’re costume this year.
