    The royal wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton has indeed set the cash registers ringing for many in the London hospitality industry. Hotels around the city have seen an enormous boost in the bookings over the last few weeks from visitors’ all over the world to witness the event. Reports from the travel industry suggests majority of the bookings being from domestic travelers in and around London and those form US coming at the close second.

    As per the recent hospitality trends report the bookings for some of the best London Hotels have witnessed an increase in revenue of almost 400%. The data is an estimation of average revenue per booking which has seen an alarming increase as compared to the previous year. Hotels in and around the city had been booked to full occupancy particularly those en route to Westminster Abbey. Waldorf Hilton situated 15 minutes from the venue had rooms priced at 269 GBP per night but on the wedding weekend the price rose to something like 369 GBP.
