Is an air or foam mattress better for camping?
There are quite a few different types of mattresses that you can purchase for camping. Generally they are either made of foam, or they are filled with air to give the same effect. The best mattresses that I have used are foam, but then these come with a few disadvantages. For starters, foam is not able to be squashed very easily, meaning that even after you have rolled the mattress up it takes up a lot of space. Most air mattresses are designed to fold up into almost nothing once you have let the air out. A good compromise then is to purchase a mattress that you can fill with air and that also has some foam in it too.
The Coleman Air Mattress is one of the better options out there. Of course, you need to weigh up what you are going to be using the mattress for. If you do a lot of hiking then buying a huge foam mattress would be a big mistake! A lot of people gloss over these things, but if you put the time into buying quality camping gear you will thank yourself later down the track. Its the simple things that make camping more enjoyable. Take the Portable Camping Toilet for example. How much more uncomfortable is it to go to the toilet in the bush without one? I have long been a believer that camping doesn’t have to be difficult or uncomfortable, as long as you buy the right gear, and you use it correctly. Mattresses are used for a considerable number of hours every day, which is why its important to get the right one for you!

Beautiful La Palma, Spain
This island, also referred to as the Green Island due to its countryside exuberance, is one of the Canary Islands on Spain’s Atlantic Ocean coast. Islands in Spain are major tourist attractions because of their warm and relaxing nature. They break the monotony of monuments and museums, which are very numerous in the country.
This island has a national park that is home to the highest mountain in the area. The park is mainly dedicated to the volcanoes and the various species of plant. UNESCO declared this island as a Biosphere Reserve because of its magnificent countryside.
If you have been to Spain and have not been to these beautiful islands, you have missed out a lot. The islands offer fine cuisines, beach sports, and an overall relaxing environment and climate. Most of the island is of volcanic origin with some having small active volcanoes.
La Palma Island has an amazing town called Santa Cruz, which consists of interesting inclining alleys, and it is very lively. The town has important monuments, such as the Iglesia Del Salvador church and the town hall, which dates back to the 16th century. Here you will also find a natural science museum, which is very interesting.
Things to see in La Palma
When visiting this beautiful Spanish island, you can visit the sandy beaches and small bays, which are very attractive and beautiful. Visiting the prehistoric cave full of engravings in Mazo can be exciting and from here you will have a view of the coastal area.
Volcanic craters and vineyards that are full of contrast can be quite a pleasure to see, along with the fishing villages, banana plantations, and the ports found here. Adventurous woods are also available for those who love exploring natural grounds.
Spain as a whole has a lot to be explored and redefined; this is becoming evident by the influx of foreigners who are out to tour the country for pleasure, business, or education. This is one country that you can’t exhaust in one vacation and, therefore, you may find yourself coming back over and over or even making it your home. There are tourists who never go back to their homelands after visiting the country.
Take time to have a feel of everything Spain has to offer: the monuments, beaches, islands, museums, and national parks just to mention a few. Time will be your only hindrance because hot spots are in plenty.

Having Fun at Regent’s Park
Sure, it is fascinating to be able to take a glimpse of the home of Sherlock Holmes in Baker Street, but if you do not really want to have a love affair with the road traffic and the congested scenery, you better just head for Regent’s Park, the largest grass are for sporting activities in London. The place is like a whiff of fresh air and there are other places worth visiting which are just a walking distance away from the park.
Taking the whole family for a family date in Regent’s Park is also a good idea. Near the southern part of the park, close to Portland Street tube station and Baker Street, you can take the children for an exciting play time at the children’s playground.
While the children are busy climbing trees and having fun with other kids, you can relax for a while at a nearby cafe at the south side of Regent’s park for some peaceful moments. If you want to have a bonding time with your children, go to the London Zoo on the northern part of the place. You can go around easily inside the zoo because the size is just enough for a short tour to view animals with the kids. It is not exhausting and is just a short walk from the Park, Baker Street and Great Portland tube station.
Regent’s Park is open from 5 am but closing time depends on the month or season of the year. Parking time is available from 7am. From Monday to Saturday, you will be charged £2.40 per hour parking fee with a four hour maximum limit, while on Sunday and holidays, park charge drops to £1.40 per hour, and the maximum stay limitation is disregarded.
After relaxing at the park, if you are a tourist and wants to have a pleasant road walk, try passing through the Marylebone High Street that extends from Euston Road all the way to Oxford Street in London. Start the journey from Euston Road, located between Regent’s Park tube station and Baker Street. You pass through coffee stops for breaks and pubs for meals. For a change in scenery and a little thrill, drop by the church park and check out the old gravestones. If you like shopping, you can visit shops where most of the locals buy clothing and other goods.
Whether you go as a family or alone, indeed, there is something for you in London.
