I've gone through the boat prtety thoroughly i.e. new chainplates, diesel, standing rigging etc. etc.. I bought a new centerboard from Tartan and it won't be long before I have it in the air (boat lift) to install it. Questions: Best pivot pin? (size, ss?) The other question I have is the actual centerboard/pennant connection .. the board hardware to the actual pennant. (1/8 ss cable)I still have the old board. The pivot hole bushing is good, but the pennant hole area was a disaster. Seawater infiltration/neglect. We had to pry it out . was well worth the time to lift/inspect. Anyways . I want to install the new board properly with the right hardware. Have a list of suggested parts?There was no hardware or connection to the old pennant when I removed the board, so I have no idea what caused the damage/destruction of that portion of the centerboard.
